Carlos Valdez

Vice President

Carlos joined Qualex in 2015 from Dura Freight where he was Senior Vice President. Previously he served as Director of Chilled Operation.  Responsible for more than 100 accounts providing exceptional service driving growth and exceeding customers KPIs. He also held the Logistics Manager position at Ventura Foods where he led the Logistic Team to merge 4 location into one mega location. Carlos held several leadership positions while he worked at PepsiCo for 15 years. 

 Carlos brings more than 25 years of expertise in the Manufacturing/Logistics areas with proven results in management, customer service, strategic planning and execution, business startups and staff development. 
Known as a leader with the ability for building cooperative, productive work environments that foster corporate goals, growth and opportunities for advancement.

Gloria Moungian

Director of Systems and Process Controls

Gloria brings nine years of strong organizational and training experience, with focuses on developing content and community building, in her previous roles as Regional Manager and Director of Programming.

In her role at Qualex, she has facilitated implementation and continuous improvement of Warehouse Management, Payroll, Accounting, and Transportation applications & software. She worked with Senior Management in aggressively establishing the company strategy to grow five times in five years.  

Gloria works directly with application users, outside vendors, and IT departments for problem resolution, to create a more effective user experience. Gloria is employee and customer driven, striving to bring out the best in herself and others to continue the growth of the company.

Gloria Brass

Senior Executive Assistant

Gloria’s career as Executive Secretary expands 40+ years working as Assistant to the Executive Vice President at Bank of America for the last 13 years of her 26 years at their Los Angeles Headquarters.  Gloria maintained close operational liaison with and provided comprehensive administrative support for all phases of executive office operations including customer relations, community relations, new business development and corporate subsidiary operations. 
    
Gloria joined Qualex in 2004 from Henricks, Slavin & Holmes, where she was Administrative Assistant for 15 years, responsible for monitoring and administrating deadlines for legal documents required for filing with the US Patent & Trademark Office on behalf of clients.  She also worked as Executive Assistant to CFO/COO at Anthony Manufacturing Company Inc. for 6 years as liaison with outside vendors and plant personnel identifying day-to-day problems and assembling recommendations.

Ana Badillo

Customer Logistics Manager

 Ana joined Qualex in 2015 from Dura Freight where she was Customer Service Manager. Ana brings over 15 years of 3PL experience managing accounts such as Tropicana, Gillette, and Haier America.

Ana served for 3 years as the 1st Female Sales Representative in the company’s 35 year history. Ana also worked 5 years in the textile industry in the L.A’s Fashion District.
   Ana is our resident expert for all customer routing and compliance with vast knowledge in E-commerce, Retail, Food and Beverage industries.

Juan Mendoza

Director of Operations

Juan has been with Qualex for over 22 years. He began as a part-time driver and rose through the ranks to his current position as our Director of Operations – Furniture Division. His vast and thorough knowledge of the industry makes him a “Jack-of-all trades.”
